          While some come for skiing/snowboarding and others come for fishing or hiking, the summer time events and festivals that occur in Mammoth Lakes can't be missed.  Many travel long distances to enjoy Jazz Jubilee or the Million Dollar Troutstock fishing Derby.

       Ford Mammoth Motocross

The Ford Mammoth Motocross is an annual event featuring junior riders, intermediate riders, senior riders, and professional riders.  There is also a class for women riders.  Come enjoy the fun and mountain scenery at the Motocross track. 

     Summerfest at the Village/4th of July Parade

     Jazz Jubilee 20th Year Extravaganza

This year is the 20th year for the Jazz Jubilee.  Scheduled for Friday July 11, there is a Mardi Gras party and Big Band playing.  Weather permitting, Saturday July 12 there will be a fireworks display at the local High School.

All around the town of Mammoth Lakes, you will see and hear the sounds of Trad, Dixie, Swing, Big Band, Zydeco, and Straight ahead.  Jazz artists from across the country come to entertain you under the majestic mountain peaks.  There is even a Jazz camp for youth aged 13-17 to learn how to play Jazz music.  Come to Mammoth for one of the most popular events around.

     Firemen's Canoe Races and Picnic
